Waxing It’s the process of applying hot or cold wax on the skin and pulling the hair off from the roots, against its direction, using wax strips or cloth pieces. On the face, it is recommended to use cold wax since the skin might be too sensitive to handle hot wax. 3. Threading A cotton thread is looped around each hair and pulled from the root. Threading is the best option for facial hair since it’s comparatively smaller compared to the hair present in other areas, so it becomes easier to remove such small hairs.
